Hotel The Exchange is a hotel with a special love of fashion. Students of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute dressed the rooms like models on the catwalk. The hotel is located in three buildings, of which the oldest dates back to the 17th century. In the same buildings there is a 230 m2 contemporary department store Options! and a restaurant Stock that serves breakfast till late.

Hotel The Exchange has 61 rooms, ranging from 1 to 5 stars. Each room has been designed and dressed by graduates and alumni of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI). The rooms are as diverse and inspiring, as the neighborhood the hotel lies in.The romantic at heart can fall asleep in a Marie Antoinette-inspired room where a huge dress drapes over the walls and unto the bed. Or, if you prefer a more minimal look, opt for a room that is based on the old fairy tale of the Emperor’s New Clothes. There are  also sewing machines in the hotel if you want to sew by yourself!

Habita Group’s Eco Hotel Endémico Resguardo Silvestre is a ‘wild reserve’ designed by architect Jorge Gracia.  Arranged on a hillside about 40 minutes outside of Ensenada, in the heart of Mexico’s wine country, the 20 free-standing units, each with a terrace and outdoor clay chimenea, set on a 40-acre winery in Valle de Guadalaupe. The interiors are sleek and modern, an interesting contrast to the wild terrain outside.

Public conceived by Ian Schrager,is a complete transformation of the Gold Coast’s famed Ambassador East Hotel and its historic Pump Room restaurant. Rich with a cultural heritage that spans decades, the hotel and the Pump Room was a place to see and be seen and played host to a multitude of celebrities and people from all over the world and all walks of life.

Les Cols Pavellons is outside Olot in Catalunya, in a rural area. Les Cols is actually a restaurant with rooms. The restaurant is in a 13th-century farmhouse and serves Fina Puigdevall’s alt-country food, which earned Michelin star. Its interior design is the work of Girona-based architects Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramón Vilalta. The five pavilions at Les Cols are a series of glass-and-steel boxes devoid of all decoration and furniture except a big, black futon. A glass floor floats above black rocks, which are supposed to evoke the volcanic landscapes of the Garrotxa.

There’s something very special about the Parisian townhouse at No. 8 rue Jean Goujon. Here in the Maison des Centraliens, between classicism and avant-garde, tradition and provocation, a new experience is coming
to life: witty, jokey , poetic, playing in total freedom..Built in 1866,  for the Duchess of Rivoli had three floors.  On the death of the duchess, it passed to her son Victor Masséna, then to her grandson André Prosper who sold it in 1913 to Princess of Croye olre. Her heirs sold it in 1919 to the Maison des Centraux,  formed for the purpose with funds provided by the alumni of the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures.

In 2011, nearly two centuries later, the Accor group wanted to turn this unique, prestigious setting into the place where they would have dine and sleep. 40 existing rooms renovated  creating 17 new guestrooms and suites. Beyond renovation, architect Danièle Damon has really restructured the building. On the ground floor the restaurant is now vast and opens onto the terrace and garden, On the first, third and fourth floors, the former Centralien premises have been vacated to build the 17 Couture guestrooms and suites, their design entrusted to Maison Martin Margiela.

Town Hall is in the heart of London’s vibrant East End since Edwardian times: grand, but with a refined elegance that lasts the centuries. After an extension and a restoration under the direction of Rare Architecture, Town Hall has spacious 98 hotel rooms and apartments with the space and style of a designer apartment.

Retaining some original elements of the building such as sculptures commissioned from Henry Poole, enormous craftsmanship has gone into a restoration of wide marble halls, dramatic staircases and stunning public rooms which
include a traditional council chamber and the original council meeting rooms. Offering a mix of studios, one bedroom suites, two bedroom suites and feature rooms, every apartment is unique. With fully integrated kitchens complete with Corian work surfaces as well as bespoke, architect designed bathrooms every apartment has been individually designed offering original retro furniture mixed with contemporary Scandinavian inspired hand-crafted pieces.

Located in the heart of the city’s major museums cluster and the Royal Concertgebouw, the Conservatorium Hotel occupies the famous site of Amsterdam’s former Sweelinck music conservatorium. The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel exemplifies High Victorian Gothic architecture in its most dramatic sense, the stunning redbrick building having been saved from demolition in the sixties by a protest led by former Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman. The original building – The Midland Grand Hotel – was designed and built by the Victorian architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and opened in 1873. Treehotel is located in the beautiful village of Harads, approximately 60 km south of the Arctic Circle, in northern Sweden.  Their inspiration came from the documentary film “Trädälskaren” (Treelover) by Jonas Selberg Augustsen. It is the story of three men from the urban environment who look to get back to their roots by building a tree house together.  There are six uniquely themed Tree Rooms, created by 6 separate architects : The Mirrorcube, The Bird’s Nest, The Cabin and The Blue Cone. In addition they have a sauna and a relaxing area room which seat 12 guests comfortably. This is the first Tree Hotel in the world with a Sauna.

The rooms vary from 15 – 30 square meters and they range between 4-6 meters from the ground. We build mainly with wood, though one room has a glass facade. All of the Tree Houses are situated up in pine trees. The rooms can be accessed by either a ramp or sturdy stairs. One of the rooms has an electric retractable stairs.Every Tree Room has its own living and sleeping areas.  Each Tree Room is equipped with its own state of the art eco-friendly incineration toilet and water efficient hand basin, which means there is no artificial plumbing. The interior of each Tree Room are uniquely designed by the architect, with its own furniture and lighting to complement the individual theme.
