Le Royal Eclaireur ’s name comes from the Palace where it is located : the Royal Monceau. It also ows its identity from the designer who created it : Philippe Starck, in collaboration with Armand Hadida, creator of l’Eclaireur. The shop is imagined like the suite of an hotel, comfortable, spacious, refined. Art, decoration, design, but also a fashionable selection in the innovating line of l’Eclaireur’s mixed universes, the Royal Eclaireur decides to drive the experience a little further.

Placebo pharmacy and shop is created by the Greek studio KLab Architecture by wrapping a round facade punctured by Braille lettering over the existing octagonal building, with plants occupying the space in between. The Pharmacy is arranged over two floors, the ground floor being the primary shop space with the upper mezzanine floor consisting of ancillary office space . Two levels of the Placebo are linked by a long ramp that curls round one side of the circular plan.

Le Mill is a multifunctional, lifestyle concept store, housed in a former rice mill bang in the middle of the city’s gritty docks area. The four women behind the store stylishly curate fashion and furnishing that, while made in India, aren’t necessarily easy to find here, as well as goods from overseas. By putting in an organic cafe, a flower shop and a book section, the quartet hopes to foster a laid-back social atmosphere

Aesop’s store on rue Saint-Honoré is located in an eighteenthcentury building in the heart of historic Paris, close to the Palais Royal. The store interior at rue Saint-Honoré has been designed by Rodney Eggleston of Melbourne’s March Studio with Dennis Paphitis and is a realisation of a material Eggleston felt best articulated Paris. The wood of choice for this store is Victorian Ash, a timber grown in renewable forests across Australia.

The first Hermès boutique on the Left Bank is the unique boutique designed by RDAI that located at the Lutetia Hotels swimming pool in Paris. Listed as a Historic Monument since 2005, the swimming pool built in 1935 has a strong architectonic character and a compelling identity, that of Art Deco – it is in the spirit of its age. After its closure, the swimming pool underwent varied and diverse uses and was transformed..The entrance of the boutique is like a lightwell overturned, horizontal, which attracts one irrevocably towards the light at the back. The ceiling and the walls curved and leaning inwards, covered with oak laths. This unique design is mostly made from wooden materials that completed by modern and unique furniture.

Entratalibera is a project by Bruno Rainaldi: a 800 square meter space in the center of Milano displaying design objects and new expressions of contemporary art, which suggests new ways of living . The relationship between objects, design and art represents the main criterion of research, layout, promotion and sale. This is the primary focus of Entratalibera and is meant to inspire people to furnish their homes in a contemporary and highly individual ways.

Boon The Sop Woman and Man are the premium clothes emporium in Seoul’s Cheongdam neighbourhood. Amongst the youung and contemporary luxury fashion brands you’ll also find a good selection of books, magazines and music. These two shop have all designer gear in a museum-like atmosphere. The four-story woman fashion building, designed by Guido Stefanoni and Freyrie & Pestalozza, redefined fashion in Seoul when it remodeled itself into a lifestyle concept store. The minimalist interior makes the shop’s impressive collections stand out, and the store is known for introducing Balenciaga, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, Comme des Garçons and Dries Van Noten to Korea.

White Gallery is Rome’s first major lifestyle store. Conceived as a contemporary art gallery, it is host to mobility and myriad facets of effervescent creation. A place which caters to the senses, where colours, perfumes, sounds, flavours and materials artfully elicit new emotions and pleasures. Among fashion, accessories and fragrances for men and women, there is also a dedicated food department. And most intsrestingly the project is part of a wider program for the area’s urban upgrading, which will see the construction of the new Fuksas Congress Center and a mixed complex of apartments and shops designed by architect Renzo Piano.

The gallery is housed in the symbolic spaces of the Palace of Modern Art, part of the museum complex of the former Piazza Imperiale, known today as Piazza Guglielmo Marconi.

Designed by architects Studio Daniel Libeskind and David Rockwell, Crystals is part of the City Center development. It is the combination of luxurious trends both in clothing and food.

The exterior architecture, conceived by Studio Daniel Libeskind, is a multi-faceted, brilliant glass canopy depicting the beauty of a quartz crystal that welcomes an abundance of natural light into the stunning three-level environment. Within, David Rockwell and Rockwell Group have created an abstract park that celebrates nature and the seasons, featuring “changeable artwork” in the way of hanging gardens and a colorful flower carpet.

Don Rafael fell in love with the area around Haro, the mythical capital of the Rioja Alta region and around 1877 he began the design and construction of the complex that is today known as the López de Heredia bodega (winery), the oldest in Haro. The visitor’s pavilion of the winery, designed by Zaha Hadid is a modular metallic construction situated in front of the old bodega buildings, and in the future will become the visitors’ access to the bodega. It was conceived as a movable building, and was erected to mark the 125th anniversary of the bodega in the 2002 Alimentaria Fair in Barcelona. The pavilion also houses a stand used in the Brussels exhibition from the early 20th century.

Galerie BSL in the Marais is a place that aims at making over the codes of the genre. Exclusive one-off pieces, limited series, creation in design, jewelery and fashion…

The on-site architecture by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance breaks with the international white cube standard for art galleries – a model that may suit contemporary artworks but does not cover the needs of a design
gallery. This structure becomes the founding statement in the gallery’s space: an object for displaying other objects. A shell that is showcase and cocoon, built to enhance the most advanced design projects of today and other rare pieces or exclusive commissions: 20th c. lighting, contemporary and vintage jewelery, fashion creations.

Koichiro Kimura is internationally active designer as well as owner of the interior showroom ‘international‘. In his Aoyama showroom Kimura created a contact place to link his own artwork and national and international companies.

The showroom is in an old house constructed in the mid Showa era (around the 50’s) and renovated it into a shop on the ground floor and a showroom on the 2nd floor, using Kimura’s key colors of gold, white and super pink. From his minimal tableware to avant garde art pieces, all of his creation will be showcased in the space where you can fully enjoy the world of Koichiro Kimura design.

At the showroom on the 2nd floor, you will find the white space made out of 4,000 pieces of white pyramid objects, which portray unreal atmosphere as if you were inside a spaceship for a cosmic journey.

Derek Lam’s Soho store, situated on the ground floor of a 19th century factory building merges art and fashion. The boutique was designed by SANAA, whose work includes the New Museum New York. SANAA decked the space with clear acrylic partitions, creating movable, bubblelike pods that display ready-to-wear items. The boutique also has limited-edition pieces.
