The palazzo in which Aman is housed, Palazzo Papadopoli, was built in the 16th century by the architect Gian Giacomo dé Grigi, as commissioned by the Coccina family of Bergamo.Guests usually arrive at the property by boat, docking at a landing that leads directly into the palazzo’s Reception Hall. A sweeping staircase rises through two levels to arrive at the reception area for the Dining Room, which overlooks the Grand Canal and serves Italian and Asian cuisines. Accessed from the ballroom is the Bar which provides a cosy setting with canal views.

Fronting the Grand Canal is the Garden Terrace, one of very few private gardens on the canal. Mature trees and a quadrangle of verdant green grass provide the ideal setting for a relaxing hour or two, or an al fresco meal in the warmer months. Aman has a second hidden Private Garden with soaring trees that provides a serene setting for resort guests. It also provides walking access to San Polo. Aman offers a total of 24 accommodations with the majority being of unique layout and design. Many feature protected frescos and reliefs that reflect past periods of art and architecture. Furniture and furnishings throughout the accommodations are contemporary, yet of a simple aesthetic.

Selman is at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, away from the hustle of the Medina, what seemed like only a mirage has become a reality. Developers Saida and Abdeslam Bennani Smires tapped decorator Jacques Garcia to mastermind the project, which encompasses 56 guest rooms and five riads. Jasmine-scented gardens around the 80-metre pool and its spa are wonderfully soothing and the roomy suites blessedly tasteful.

Destino is standing atop the cliffs of Cap Martinet, on its own corner of the island, its location offers a gorgeous panoramic view of the Mediterranean, Dalt Vila and Formentera. There are one hundred and seventy rooms. Different accommodations for different individuals, including luxury suites for the most selective VIP. The rooms have been integrated with open spaces, trees and vegetation to bring out the site’s natural beauty and so the indoors and outdoors feel like one.

The jewel of the property is the swimming pool, a modern oasis surrounded by palm trees, sunbeds and day beds with a king-size Jacuzzi to enjoy the sunset. Our two hundred-seat restaurant will feature a fusion of Japanese, Mediterranean and Central American flavors made from fresh local ingredients. And because Pacha cares about how you care for your body, there will be original juice blends and hot yoga on the premises.

The Beatrice Inn is Graydon Carter’s third restaurant located in West Village.. The historic basement space, a former red-sauce trattoria, was once a den of New York dive bar. The hot scene is much better than the food despite a chef with serious pedigree (Brian Nasworthy spent five years as sous chef at Per Se). But the atmosphere is amazing.. It is a Great Gatsby style clubhouse, with antique ceiling fans, a lit fireplace and mahogany walls and of course the crowd..

When you once arrive at the McKittrick Hotel at 530 W. 27th St., New York City, your life would never be the same again. There never existed a McKittrick Hotel, except in Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo . The hotel had been created as a backdrop for this Punchdrunk production where audience members are free to roam the 100 rooms at this performance site, which can be as large as a five-story industrial warehouse as in the McKittrick Hotel. They can either follow the performers and themes (there are usually multiple threads at any instant), or simply explore the world of the performance, treating the production as a large art installation. This particular installation is called Sleep No More and is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth in the style of a film noir Hitchcock thriller, using reworked music from the soundtrack of classic Hitchcock films..It is a must experience performance

Inspired by the great boulevard cafés of Paris, Colbert sits where Chelsea, Knightsbridge & Belgravia meet. Open 7 days a week, from breakfast until late. Colbert appears to have slowly expanded over the last nine decades from one room to three to accommodate le patron’s ever-growing collection of art & local memorabilia. True to the spirit of traditional French cafés, Colbert, with its prime position on Sloane Square next to The Royal Court Theatre, is the perfect spot to while away a few hours over drinks, snacks or a full meal.

Brunswick House Café is in a Georgian mansion, marooned amid a tangle of A-roads and modern high-rise blocks near Vauxhall station. It shares its premises with architectural salvage company Lassco, whose finds furnish the bar and dining room – a beguiling jumble of church pews, chandeliers, antique tables and maritime flags, with price tags attached. But the kitchen favours simplicity, with a daily changing one-page menu and a focus on seasonal ingredients: spring lamb sweetbreads with bacon and kohlrabi, perhaps, or a feather-light soufflé of new season asparagus, sprinkled with pea shoots and chives.

Throughout Viceroy Anguilla modern architectural forms interplay with the natural environment, while contemporary interiors by designer Kelly Wearstler add rich textural contrast. The resort’s signature restaurant, Cobà, offers dining with exquisite views of Barnes Bay and Meads Bay, and the dramatic bay-view Sunset Lounge and cliff side Half Shell beach bar and restaurant add to the culinary offerings at this stunning luxury Caribbean resort. Two white sand beaches, our glimmering Sunset Pool, an array of water sports and a spa add to Viceroy’s experience.

Alila Purnama, translated as The Full Moon, is the most luxurious liveaboard Phinisi ship in Asia, providing ultra-modern and relaxing accommodation for up to ten guests. The 46- metre-long Alila Purnama consists of three decks and has been built by hand in the traditional style of a Phinisi, as used by the Bugis seafarers from south Sulawesi in Indonesia.

In keeping with Alila’s emphasis on style and sustainability, the furniture throughout the ship is custom-made from teak, rattan and other locally sourced materials from Indonesia. Onboard are five well-appointed cabins including one master suite, designed to indulge guests further with large wraparound windows offering 180-degree views of the ever-changing yet incredible landscape. Alila Purnama also has its own fully licensed PADI dive centre, spa therapist and plenty of space for wining, dining and relaxing while enjoying the sea breeze.

Pauly Saal bar, restaurant and garden is in the former Jüdische Mädchenschule, or Jewish girls’ school, was built in Mitte in 1928 and was taken over by the Nazis as early as 1930. The Pauly Bar, which might as well be the set of a 1930s gentlemen’s club with its dark green walls, buttery brown leather chairs and Persian rugs is the the dining room, too..The courtyard, a charming brick patio where you can eat lunch in the afternoon or sip a cocktail at night, was used for deportations until 1941, after which the school passed through a series of owners.

After its original in New York City Keith McNally opened Balthazar’s London edition on the corner of Russell Street and Wellington Street in the heart of Covent Garden. Housed in the old Theatre Museum, in a building called “The Flower Cellars”, Balthazar is sharing the space with The London Film Museum. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, plus weekend brunch. There is a Balthazar bakery housed next door serving its own house-made artisan breads, as well as a wide selection of homemade pastries, salads and sandwiches.

Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa is in Panglao Island which is at the southernmost tip of Bohol, Philippines. It is a sprawling property which covers 16 hectares. The resort is boutique in style which accounts for its exclusivity. Architecture of the building is decidedly Filipino with a splash of modern amenities. The thatched villas or “balai” in the dialect, are single-detached. Most of the villas have individual private swimming pools.

The focal point of the resort is the infinity swimming pool which definitely blends with the sea at its bluest. The spacious restaurant has a cool feeling, yet with a warm ambiance and plenty of sea view and swimming pool view. Handuraw Spa is a big come-on at Eskaya. The spa is tranquil yet modern. It offers a gracious fusion of traditional therapies and modern spa technology, a melting pot of Asian healing practices and rich European spa traditions.
