A classic Miami Beach landmark and once the 1920’s playground for the rich and famous is reborn as Gansevoort South, the sister hotel of Gansevoort New York. The building, originally constructed in the 1960’s in the classic Art Deco style of South Beach, has been entirely redesigned around a multi-level private beach club with a magnificent pool.  The Nikki Beach inspired décor is contemporary tropical style.  The private cabana level acts as a tranquil enclave, while the oceanfront beach level features the club’s main bar, volleyball courts, and a seating area with over-sized lounges and cabanas.

As in New York, the signature feature of the Gansevoort brand is the rooftop, transformed into a tropical haven dotted with coco palm trees and whimsical cabanas where during night turns into a  Miami Style party place.

There are 340 large and comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the ocean view. Adding a playful air and a one-of-a-kind vibe to the spacious sun-filled rooms are custom 1930’s and 40’s style pin-up photographs.  Apart from boutiques, restaurants, lounges there is a David Barton Gym+Spa on the ground floor.

The hotel is an ultimate urban retreat with views of the Atlantic Ocean and downtown Miami.
