Located on Rua Oscar Friere, Sao Paulo’s most expensive shopping street Havaianas store is designed by architect Isay Weinfeld. The store takes its inspiration from street markets: its shopfront is a flat wall which opens fully from the street onto a mezzanine lounge. This acts as a balcony to view the main level which is set out below. The space is divided into four zones; the market stall represents its roots, the cargo container displays products for export, whilst the transparent cylinder is for hot new models. A raised garden sits at the back.
