Situated at the centre of Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, overlooking the marina and with panoramic views across to Table Mountain, One&Only Cape Town is Sol Kerzner’s first hotel in his homeland of South Africa.

Cape Town-based architects Dennis Fabian & Berman and Ruben Reddy have ensured the seven-storey  property integrates with the Waterfront District, and the resort interiors were created by Adam D. Tihany. The resort’s design is a mixture of  contemporary and effects from Africa’s culture and heritage.

Forty of the resort’s spacious suites are set on an adjacent  green landscaped island in the marina itself, giving these rooms a distinctive resort feel and convenient access to Spa Island. The resort’s rooms and suites, the largest in Cape Town with a minimum size of 63 square metres, all have a private terrace or balcony.  Situated on its own private island, the spa is Cape Town’s most comprehensive one. One and Only Cape Town also makes difference with its restaurants.  Gordon Ramsay introduces Maze, offering an eclectic tasting menu evoking the bountiful flavours of authentic South African recipes. Chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa expands his empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa. Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a South African twist incorporating fresh seafood and local spices in
dishes.
Sitting at the bar with panoramic views of Table Mountain during evenings and sipping South African wines is the most  pleasant activity of the day
