Poseidonion Grace, Spetses, Greece

2/05/2010

The Poseidonion Grace located in the historical heart of Spetses town and occupies a seafront location has been a landmark on the Spetses island  for nearly a century. Private cars are banned and the use of other motor vehicles is severely restricted on the island.  The horse and carriage remains the most popular form of transport for both islanders and visitors.
The Poseidonion Grace has undergone a five-year restoration programme which has brought the hotel fully up to date while carefully preserving the original architecture of the building.

All 52 double rooms, suites and apartments in both the historical and new wings feature private gardens or balconies with beautiful views either of the sea or across the main pool and surrounding palm trees. The Poseidonion Grace has a choice of restaurants located on the main hotel balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel’s spa offers a range of soothing, healing and beautifying treatments based on local herbal remedies – part of a long tradition at the Poseidonion which nearly 100 years ago became the first hotel in Greece to offer treatments based on the natural healing properties of sea water.

Being close to Athens and offering a legendary luxury the hotel is  a perfect place for weddings and private parties.
