Quadri Restaurant Venice, Italy
Quadri restaurant in Venice reopened to the public after restoration. The famous 18th century restaurant overlooking Piazza San Marco was restored by a super team of Venetian technicians and artisans guided by architect Marin Folin and the with an intervention by archistar Phillippe Starck.
Over in the kitchen, starred chef Massimiliano Quadri mentions the word “contamination”, proposing “a gastronomy dominated by fish and vegetables that’s very much linked to the territory, the lagoon and its products, and by the Venetian tradition reinterpreted in a contemporary light.” A line present throughout the new Quattro Atti tasting menu, but also in the flatware and cutlery, whose colors are reminiscent of the lagoon.
